M. R. SellarsOkay, so here’s the deal…
In a previous blog entry I noted that one of my projects has been digitally archiving family photos. Well, that also includes documents and the like. So, wouldn’t you know it, while going through my mother’s personal effects, which have been stored away almost 20 years now (she crossed over in November 1987), I discovered that she had held on to some oddly bizarre things– For instance, the jpg below. This is one of my random doodles, generated around the kitchen table at her house when I was something like 21 or 22 years of age. Someone had just brought up the “Little Bunny Foo-Foo” rhyme, and for some odd reason I elected to doodle about it. (I was probably drinking at the time, go figure.)
As you can see by the “header” I was already thinking in “police procedural” type of terms.
At any rate, here it is. Random silliness from my past for you to either enjoy, or look at and say WTF?

That’s my stand-by, entertain the wee ones when we have an uncomfortable wait. I usually have to repeat it about 5 times. I am putting this on my office wall. Thanks Murv!

LOL!
I was thinking I might have it put on a T-shirt just for grins… And, of course, I was also thinking about having a few beers and seeing what difference 25+ years makes in how I tell and illustrate the story. My guess is the “Good Fairy” will end up having red hair and being named EK. 😉

And, if I can find what I did with the original I’ll see if I can scan it at higher resolution so it will print out clearer… 😉

@Gina –
True, but in my defense I was all of 22 and half drunk. Maybe even whole drunk… I can’t remember for sure. I did, however, recently run across a couple of pictures of me nomming on BBQ pork steaks, while inebriated, that come from that same time period and were taken in mom’s dining room… Hell, the may even be from the same day.
Posting THOSE, however, is probably NOT an option. LOL!
